Power and Corruption

 
Power means different things to different people. Some say that power is the ability to exert influence beyond those one actually controls. Others maintain that power boils down to the ability to get what one wants. Considering that we need income to obtain the things that we need or want, power could also be loosely defined as the ability to provide employment in order to derive an income. All of these definitions can be grouped together under one broader idea: Power is the ability to exert influence — whether on an individual or an organization — to obtain a desired outcome.In your opinion, does power lead to corruption?
